The SEO / SEM Specialist owns organic search growth and paid search performance across high-intent customer journeys. The role combines technical SEO, content optimization, keyword strategy, and Google Ads execution to increase qualified traffic, conversions, and efficient pipeline or revenue.
You will partner with content, product marketing, web, and analytics teams to improve site architecture, landing pages, search visibility, and campaign economics. The role is hands-on, with responsibility for turning search data into clear priorities, measurable experiments, and recurring performance gains.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO strategies covering technical audits, keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking, and content briefs
- Manage Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising campaigns, including account structure, bidding, budgets, negative keywords, ad copy, and landing-page alignment
- Monitor organic and paid search performance in Google Search Console, GA4, Google Ads, and Looker Studio; translate findings into weekly and monthly recommendations
- Run technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, redirects, canonicalization, and international or multi-site considerations
- Partner with content and product marketing to prioritize search opportunities and publish optimized pages that support acquisition and conversion goals
- Design and measure A/B tests across ad creative, landing pages, calls to action, and search-driven conversion paths
- Build dashboards and reporting that connect rankings, traffic, leads, conversion rates, CAC, and pipeline or revenue contribution
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of hands-on SEO and SEM experience in a technology, SaaS, agency, or high-growth digital business
- Strong working knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and SEO platforms such as Semrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog
- Demonstrated experience improving organic rankings, qualified traffic, paid search efficiency, and conversion performance
- Understanding of technical SEO, web analytics, attribution, landing-page optimization, and the relationship between search performance and business outcomes
- Comfort working with CMS platforms, basic HTML, spreadsheets, dashboards, and SQL or data queries for analysis
- Clear written communication and strong project-management skills; able to prioritize recommendations and explain performance to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bonus: Experience with B2B SaaS or ecommerce, enterprise SEO, international search, experimentation platforms, marketing automation, or Looker and BigQuery
