Full-Stack Engineer

We are looking for an experienced backend-leaning full-stack engineer to build and scale the voice systems at the core of ElevenLabs.

Creative Voices owns the voice and speech products inside ElevenCreative, including Text-to-Speech, Speech-to-Text, Voice Changer, Voice Isolator, Voice Library and Voice Cloning. You will join a small team turning frontier speech research into products used by millions.

You will own backend architecture and production systems, working closely with research engineering and security. Your responsibilities will include:

• Modernising voice architecture, including data models, storage and APIs.
• Making voice cloning and fine-tuning pipelines reliable through monitoring, retries and failure recovery.
• Building voice creation, verification and recommendation capabilities.
• Owning workstreams from design to production, including frontend changes where needed.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience building and scaling high-traffic production systems.
• Strong system design and database fundamentals, including data modelling, concurrency, migrations and security.
• Experience operating production services, with strong debugging, monitoring and failure recovery skills.
• Independent ownership, clear communication and the drive to ship quickly, with confidence working across the stack.
